We Are Fueling and Revolutionizing the Vehicle Wrap Industry

Wrapping a vehicle with a custom image or design is a precise process that combines design, printing, and skilled installation. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how a vehicle wrap company typically applies an image onto a vehicle:

1. Client Consultation & Vehicle Inspection

Goal: Understand the client’s vision, brand, and preferences.

Vehicle Assessment: Inspect the make, model, and condition of the vehicle. Any dents, rust, or paint issues are noted as they can affect the wrap’s adhesion.

2. Design Creation

Template Use: Designers use a scaled template of the specific vehicle model to ensure accurate placement of images, logos, and text.

Mockups & Proofs: A digital mockup is created and sent to the client for approval, showing exactly how the design will look on all sides of the vehicle.

3. Printing the Wrap

Material: The design is printed on large rolls of vinyl wrap using eco-solvent or UV-resistant inks.

Lamination: A clear, protective laminate layer is added to protect against UV rays, scratches, and weather.

4. Surface Preparation

Cleaning: The vehicle is thoroughly washed and wiped down with alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and wax.

Trims & Hardware Removal (optional): Mirrors, door handles, and badges might be removed to ensure a seamless wrap.

5. Application of the Wrap

Positioning: The wrap panels are carefully aligned and temporarily taped to the vehicle.

Adhesion: Using heat guns and squeegees, installers apply the vinyl to the surface, stretching and conforming it to curves, crevices, and contours.

Trimming: Excess material is cut away around edges, lights, and panels.

Post-Heating: Areas that were stretched (especially on curves) are reheated to “set” the vinyl and prevent lifting.

6. Final Inspection & Delivery

Quality Check: The wrap is inspected for air bubbles, lifting edges, or alignment issues.

Client Review: The customer is shown the final product, and care instructions are provided.

7. Aftercare

Curing Time: The vehicle should stay dry for 24–48 hours.

Maintenance: Avoid harsh cleaners; hand-washing is preferred to extend wrap life.
